Privacy notice
In short: we keep your email address and a few signup details, use them only to tell you when Hindsense launches, and never sell them.
Who we are
Hindsense is run by Hindsense Pty Ltd in Melbourne, Australia. We are responsible for the information described here.
What we keep
- your email address;
- the kinds of deliverables you prepare, if you tell us;
- when you signed up, the page you signed up from, and the country you signed up from.
We also keep a spam-check detail for one hour to stop repeated signups from the same connection, then it is deleted automatically. We don't use cookies, tracking or analytics on this site.
What we use it for
We email you once to confirm your signup, then again when the first release is ready. We also use your details to reply if you contact us. Your answer about deliverables and your country help us decide what to build first. No newsletter and no marketing lists.
Who else handles it
Two service providers help us run the waitlist. Neither uses your information for its own purposes.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores the waitlist. It may process data outside Australia, including in the United States.
- Resend sends our emails.
Only Hindsense's director can see the list. We don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Up to 24 months after you sign up, then we delete it. If you become a customer, a separate notice will cover your account. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time. Deleted details can stay in our backups for up to 30 days before they are removed too.
Your choices
- Joining is optional, and only your email address is required.
- Every email we send has a link to take you off the list.
- To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
- In the EU or UK, we rely on your consent when you submit the form. You can withdraw it the same way, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
- In Australia, if you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes
If we change how we use waitlist information, we'll update this page. If the change is significant, we'll email everyone on the list first.
